It's nearing that time of year again. The Sumter County Sheriff's Office is once again putting on their Annual Sheriff Bill Farmers Charity Golf Tournament. At George Nahas Chevrolet, we aspire to help our communities any way we can. So, we are participating in the 22nd Annual Sheriff Bill Farmers Charity Golf Tournament as a sponsor.

What is this Tournament for?

The goal of this tournament is to benefit the local youth. This tournament promotes sporting events, community projects, and education scholarships. Community members can participate by playing in the golf tournament or by sponsoring it. For those that want to play, there's still time to register. As an incentive, there will be cars on the site to browse and check out. And those that score a hole in one may win a car.

Who Benefits from this Tournament?

All proceeds earned from this tournament benefit the local youth. This support is shown in aiding several programs that get children and teens involved. Athletic clubs, college scholarships, school-related clubs, science fairs, and more are supported through the sponsorships and participation in this tournament.

How Do You Sign Up?

If you are interested in registering to play in the tournament, there's luckily still time left to do so. Simply navigate to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office and click on the Community Outreach tab. There, go to Fundraising Events and land on the tournament page. A link to the registration form will be on the page. Simply fill out the form and turn it into the Sheriff's office.
